More Teens Are Driving Less Safe Vehicles

Smaller or older vehicles are less safe and more riskier for teens than newer, larger vehicles. According to a new study by the IIHS, over a quarter of the teen drivers that were killed between 2013 and 2017 were driving micro, mini or small cars and two-thirds were driving 6-15-year-old vehicles.
